It was a "girls night out" weekend!The long awaited premiere of every woman's favorite show was Friday and every girl between the ages of 15-50 got dressed up, grabbed their girlfriend and waited in line to see it! Sex and the City knocked Indiana Jones out of the number one spot racking in $26.9 million worth of tickets across America Friday night!
I had to work Friday night and was unable to go but I work at Ruby Tuesday and let me just say that both Friday and Saturday that restaurant was FULL of women coming in all dressed up to drink cosmos in honor of the premiere! They were coming in before and after! I was so jealous that I had to work!! I've never served more cosmos to so many women in my life!!!
For the beginning, everyone was happy and pretty ...reminiscent of the many seasons of Sex and the City. There wasn't a moment in the movie where you didn't hear some girl in the theater gasp, laugh or aww. The movie lived up to expectation, though it was predictable.
I suggest for those of you that have not seen it, DO IT! It was long, but so worth it.
