Tilda Swinton's outfit was my least favorite--shapeless and unremarkable. Viggo Mortensen and Jennifer Hudson were both a close second for least favorite (Hudson, who I usually think is dressed impeccably, must have some kind of Oscar Night Curse. Remember last year when she got stuck wearing that hideous bolero because of Andre Leon Talley? Sad. No Vogue editor should wield that much power). My favorites were Amy Adams, Keisha Whitaker, Hilary Swank, and Kristen Chenoweth.
(I would have also said Katherine Heigl, but I just found her hair so matronly and I'm really tired of her red lipstick look.)

On a side note, I know that she's ending up on a lot of "worst dressed" lists and I'll probably eat my words in a couple of weeks, but I thought Cameron Diaz looked rather lovely. She glowed in the color and while, yes, there was a bit too much material to the dress, I felt the overall look was very nice.

My "best dressed" list consists of: Jennifer Garner, Hillary Swank, and Cate Blanchett (pregnant and all)!

And I watched the red carpet special on E before the show, and Ryan Seacrest was completely obnoxious and disrespectful. And when Gary Busey interrupted his interview with Jennifer Garner it was really awkward!

I thought Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, and Keri Russell were some of the best dressed stars of the Oscars. I also liked Cameron Diaz's dress. While some may disagree, it works for her. Katherine Heigl looked gorgeous, but I think it's time for her to start changing things up. It seems she always goes for a similar look at every award show. For the men, George Clooney looked ravishing as always.

And I think E! needs to rethink its contract with Ryan Seacrest. He was painful to watch, rude, and absolutely obnoxious.

Ok, I know I already left a comment, but I have to concur with the Ryan Seacrest comments. He appeared so smarmy and rude at the Oscars. Ick.

After reading these comments, I am extremely pleased with all of your fashion picks and "icks"!!

Cameron Diaz has run into a lot of controversy about her pick for the Oscars - All I have to say was that her baby pink Dior pick, in my opinion, was fabulous and fit her personal style very well which is also an important aspect besides trying to please everyone else, something I greatly admire about her. It is definitely something Heigl (though I like her a lot) needs to work on - she is a young starlet, however, and I think she just needs some time to come into her own fashion style.

I also agree about Ryan Seacrest . . . Has he become too arrogant to be a host? As a media representative, he needs to tone down his attitude or no one will want to talk to him anymore.
